We are a non-profit volunteer organization with a center in Porter
Square, Cambridge. Acropolis Boston is dedicated to making a real
difference in the world by emphasizing the power of individuals working
together for lasting change. We have a sustainable approach that is
focused on on applying timeless and universal principles to today’s
problems. Our mission is to help promote human values through our
voluntary actions in the Boston metro area and through cross cultural
exchange.

Acropolis Boston offers an Introductory
10 week course on Applied Wisdom of the East and West. The course
examines some of the most profound teachings of humanity with a practical
approach to making a real difference in ourselves and in the world
today. The course is oriented toward achieving inner happiness and
teaches one how they can become a catalyst for true and lasting change.

Tree
planting
On April 27th, Members of Acropolis Boston came together and
“volun-TREE-red” to plant trees in Marcella Park,
Roxbury in partnership with the Boston Urban Forest Coalition
(BUFC). BUFC has a goal of plating 100,000 trees by 2020 in
an initiative called Grow Boston Green. The last tree that the
members planted was the 1000th tree of the month! |

Charles River
Cleanup
On April 26th, members of Acropolis Boston participated in the
9th Annual Charles River Cleanup. They joined more than 2,000
other volunteers picking up trash along the river, and helped
improve the health and beauty of the Charles River! the Charles
River. |
