Have you ever felt that you wanted to lend a hand to humanity, but didn’t know how?

Have you ever felt compelled to get up and just “do something” to help the world?

Do you sometimes feel you want to help, but don’t know where to begin?

Do you feel overwhelmed by all the volunteer opportunities available and are not sure which one to devote your time to?

Are you looking for an experience in which you can affect change both in the world and inside yourself?

New Acropolis, an international organization and school of philosophy in the classical tradition, invites you to consider our volunteer program in El Salvador. El Salvador is one of over 50 countries in which New Acropolis centers and schools of philosophy are located.

The rippling effect of natural disasters in one corner of the world, heeds a call to New Acropolis volunteers all over the world for help… and we are extending this opportunity to any volunteers who would like to be part of a life changing adventure.

This is an experience like no other, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy moments with the community, work with the local people, meet Salvadoran volunteers, get to know the local culture, traditions, myths and legends, and see first hand the beauty of nature in El Salvador.

Share and experience the lifestyle of local villagers from Lake Coatepeque, one of the world’s most beautiful lakes according to National Geographic and Reader’s Digest. Help to re-establish the flora of the lake by planting tress that were washed away after Santa Ana’s volcano erupted in 2005.

A team of volunteers is needed for this trip of a lifetime. Are you up for the challenge?
