First Annual Philosophy Camp
Students from NA spent Labor Day Weekend 2006 at Lake George
in New York for a Philosophy Camp. The weekend was full of exciting
activities such as hiking, canoeing, and mastering Tibetan sticks.
Each participant had an assigned specific role with responsibilities
which created a great environment for fraternal experience. It gave
students the opportunity to observe philosophy in action.

School trip to visit NA in
Montreal (May 2007)
A few of us spent a weekend in May visiting Montreal, catching a class
at the school of NA Montreal, eating some great food and shared laughs
with new found friends. Of course, the beautiful mountain views of
Vermont were a free bonus in the trip. Life really is an adventure
if we give it a chance to surprise us. |

Japanese Tea Ceremony
In August we participated in a Japanese Tea Ceremony at the Kaji
Aso Studio in Boston. Delicious tea was prepared and served by the
host Ms. Kate Finnegan. The green tea we drank is called Matcha and
is in the form of green powder, which is put into a bowl. Hot water
is poured and then the tea is stirred with a chasen (tea wisk). It's
extremely good for your health. |

Philosophy in Action: New York City
Students from NA spent Memorial Day Weekend 2006 exploring New York
city from a philosophical lense. The weeekend itinerary was chock
full of NY city sites, although the experience was unlike most other
trips for the members who attended. Stops throughout the weekend included
views from the Empire State building, a picinic lunch in Central park,
an afternoon at the MET, and a guided tour of NY city. Check out the
itinerary of the trip. You'll be amazed of how much we were able
to cover in 3 days. |
