Confucius: Virtue as a Power to Change the World

Confucius is known for having said many wise things... His ideas have influenced eastern thought for thousands of years, especially on the topics of society and morality. Join us for an evening of discovery, for some, or a re-encounter for others, of some very timely and timeless Analects. Confucius identified the faults of a government by regulations and punishments and the virtues of a government by goodness and example.
 
 
Heroic Archetypes of the Arthurian World

The Arthurian Legend emerged out of the mists of history. This mythic tradition synthesized both Pagan and Christian symbolic elements in an heroic epic of struggle, transcendence and destiny. The hero is an archetypal figure recorded in literature and other art forms throughout history in cultures from all around the world. Some of these figures take fantastic journeys that test their heroic strengths and worth. Other figures undergo tremendous suffering for some greater, heroic purpose. Join us as we explore the heroic archetype in its universal and individual aspects through the inspiration of the Arthurian World.
